Senior Thesis

The due date for the WWS senior thesis has been extended until Monday, April 13, 2020. The latest information and updates regarding the University's response to the coronavirus/COVID-19 can be found on Princeton's COVID-19 website.

Each student must complete a senior thesis that addresses a specific policy question and either draws out policy implications or offers policy recommendations (or both).

The WWS awards several scholarships each year for travel and living expenses related to senior thesis research.

The University’s requirement for a senior comprehensive examination is satisfied in the WWS by an oral defense of the thesis. Students prepare a response to written evaluations from their thesis adviser and a second reader, followed by a question-and-answer period.

Senior Thesis Advisers

All theses written by Princeton students can be found in the Senior Thesis Catalog at the Seeley G. Mudd Manuscript Library.
