Insurance
All students are required to obtain health insurance through ASISTUR in addition to their regular student health insurance. In addition, all students are required to carry health insurance that is valid overseas. Student health insurance that is valid overseas may be purchased through Princeton University for $925 per semester. Students who are covered by other insurance plans must verify that they will be covered while studying abroad and that the coverage is equivalent to the Princeton plan.
Passport
Students are responsible for ensuring that their passports are valid for their entire stay in Cuba. U.S. passport fees are $110 (application fee) plus a $25 execution fee. Fees are $110 to renew your passport. For further information on renewing or obtaining a passport, please consult the U.S. Department of State passport website.
