Where Are They Now?

Cynthia Barmore ’09 will spend her two-year fellowship as a Robertson Scholar working with the Foreign Agricultural Service, U.S. Embassy Rome, and the U.S. Representative to the Food and Agricultural Organization, Rome.

Kimberly Bonner ’08 is completing her second year with the U.S. Agency for International Development in Tanzania working on malaria control efforts and will begin her MPA studies at WWS in the fall of 2010.

Shannon Brink ’09 is spending her two-year fellowship as a Robertson Scholar working for the U.S. Agency for International Development in Peru, where she focuses on rural development issues as the Mission’s Regional Representative in Cajamarca province.

Michael Konialian ’09 is on his first rotation at the Department of State as a Robertson Scholar working at US Embassy London on multilateral climate change issues.

Emily Yasmin Norris ’09 successfully competed for the Foreign Service and expects to be called on duty as a Foreign Service Officer shortly.

Brendan Reilly ’09 accepted a teaching/coaching position at his former high school as he prepares to begin his career as a US Marine Corps Officer.

Michael Shapiro ’09 spent the summer as an intern at the Department of the Treasury and will spend the first year of his fellowship as a Robertson Scholar at the Council of Economic Advisors.

Ishani Sud ’08 uses her chemical engineering degree as a technology analyst in the Washington DC area and will return to WWS in the fall of 2010 to begin her joint Master in Public Affairs/Master of Science in Engineering degree.

Jordan Reimer ’08 spent the initial year of his fellowship at the Department of Defense at the Office of Iraq Affairs. He will begin his MPA studies at WWS in the fall of 2010.

Lillian Timmerman ’08 spent a year in East Timor with Princeton-in-Asia and the summer as a White House intern. She has now embarked on her two-year fellowship as a Robertson Scholar with the Department of State.

Eugene Yi ’08 spent the initial year of his fellowship at the Department of Defense working on China and Korea in the Office of Defense Policy and subsequently joined the policy strategy team to work on the Quadrennial Review. This year he will work on US-China diplomatic issues at the US Embassy Beijing on a detail from the Department of Defense and will return to WWS in the fall of 2010 to begin his joint MPA/JD degree studies.
