"My M.P.P. experience was a great year from both an intellectual and a personal point of view. I learned a lot--not only in the classes taught by excellent faculty members, but also in discussions with classmates and from presentations by invited speakers. What I value most is what I learned about America--my experience at WWS helped me change the stereotypes I had brought from Europe about the U.S., its people, and its politics. I have come to love American dynamism, idealism, and openness. I was inspired by the young M.P.A. students in my classes striving for social justice, human rights, democracy, and the welfare of the poor around the world.
