James Gadsden is currently a Diplomat-in-Residence at the Woodrow Wilson School, having served as for over three decades in the U.S. Foreign Service, dealing extensively with European issues and transatlantic relations, and including service as U.S. ambassador to Iceland from 2002 to 2005.
