Call for applications for Scholars in the Nation's Service Initiative

The Woodrow Wilson School is accepting applications from Princeton juniors until Nov. 2 for the Scholars in the Nation's Service Initiative (SINSI), a highly selective program to encourage, support and prepare the nation’s top students for public policy and international affairs careers in the U.S. federal government. This is achieved through a unique combination of summer internships, two-year fellowships, optional language training and admission to the Master in Public Affairs degree program at the Woodrow Wilson School.

The Initiative encourages applications from Princeton juniors in any major. Applicants must be U.S. citizens.

The Woodrow Wilson School annually selects up to five Scholars in the Nation’s Service drawn from Princeton juniors from all concentrations and academic backgrounds. Those selected will spend the summer after their junior year in a SINSI-funded federal government internship in Washington, D.C. or abroad. They will also be admitted to the School’s M.P.A. program upon graduation from Princeton and, along with the M.P.A.-track Scholars, become Charles and Marie Robertson Government Service Scholars. As Robertson Scholars, those selected receive a full scholarship for tuition and living expenses while enrolled in the MPA program.

Scholars are selected on the basis of outstanding academic performance, personal accomplishment, and a demonstrated commitment to career government service
