Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs (WWS) has unveiled a mission statement designed to convey the School’s purpose, values, and ethos. Written collaboratively by the WWS faculty, the statement is the culmination of a months-long discovery process. WWS faculty, administrative leadership, students, alumni, and some University Trustees were invited to share thoughts through focus groups and a formal survey, with the submissions formulating the statement’s themes. 

 

The mission statement serves as the guiding force behind a redesign of the Woodrow Wilson School’s website, to be unveiled later this year.

 

“I want to sincerely thank those who participated in focus groups, completed the survey, and/or shared other thoughts,” said Dean Cecilia Rouse. “I believe our faculty have created an impactful statement clearly conveying the advantages of the Woodrow Wilson School.”
