The Trenton Project 2014 Films Premier: Work Makes a City Work – Work in Progress Critique of Films
Department:WWS Office of Public Affairs and Communications
Audience:Open to the Public
The Trenton Project is a collaborative documentary investigation by the student filmmakers of Urban Studies 202, "Documentary Film and the City," taught by Purcell Carson, a documentary production specialist at the Woodrow Wilson School.
This Fall, students worked in partnership with Trenton residents, institutions and community partners to produce six micro-documentaries exploring how jobs, employment and work shape a city. These films offer a kaleidoscopic lens on the challenges Trenton faces, its ambitions for the future, and the many ways Trentonians are working together to weave and repair the fabric of their city.
The films will premiere on at 6:00 p.m. on January 20 at Artworks, located at 19 Everett Alley in Trenton.
