Woodrow Wilson School and the Future of Children
"Military Children and Families" will be the topic of conversation of a panel discussion at 4:30 p.m. on Veteran's Day, Monday, November 11, 2013. The event will focus on the upcoming Future of Children volume, "Military Children and Families."
The discussion will feature volume co-editor Richard M. Lerner, the Bergstrom Chair in Applied Developmental Science and director of the Institute for Applied Research in Youth Development at Tufts University and Woodrow Wilson School students who are currently serving in the military and their spouses.
Dr. Lerner will provide an overall summation of the major findings of the volume. Our students and spouses will follow with commentary on their real life applications.
The Future of Children is a collaboration of Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School and the Brookings Institution. The mission of The Future of Children is to translate the best social science research about children and youth into information that is useful to policymakers and practitioners and to disseminate our findings broadly. Additional information to follow.
