Combat Paper NJ is a program of the Printmaking Center of New Jersey that provides veterans the opportunity to use art to explore their physical, psychological and emotional experiences. The program, run by veterans who are established artists, involves cutting up personal combat uniforms and incorporating the fibers into paper pulp, which is then transformed into works of art. The works express profound personal stories.
