The Woodrow Wilson School hosted a panel discussion titled "Empowering African Americans in the Age of Obama" at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 9, in Dodds Auditorium, Robertson Hall. The event commemorated the National Urban League's 100th anniversary and is the third in a series of lectures in the School's Race and Public Policy series.Panelists included Marc Morial, President and CEO of the National Urban League; Monique Myles Carswell, Vice President of the New York Urban League Young Professionals and a marketing manager at Black Enterprise magazine; and Hugh Price, the John L. Weinberg/Goldman Sachs & Co. Visiting Professor at the Woodrow Wilson School and former president and CEO of the National Urban League. The panel was moderated by Elisabeth Donahue, Assistant Dean for Public and External Affairs.
