Curriculum

Our programs are designed to prepare students to deal with complex public policy problems. Students are taught sophisticated techniques applicable in management and analysis. The School teaches individuals to create, implement, analyze, and interpret public policy in both the domestic and international arenas.

The School's curriculum gives you the flexibility to design a course of study that meets your goals and objectives. Students choose from more than 120 courses and seminars. Faculty who teach our courses hold joint appointments with WWS and affiliated departments in politics, economics, sociology, psychology, and several science departments. Core courses emphasize quantitative reasoning, economics, political, and behavioral analysis. Students have the freedom to choose from a vast range of electives within their respective fields and other areas of concentration.
