Upon Arrival

Check-In

Immediately upon arrival you should let Administrative Services or your Program Hiring Manager know that you've arrived. You should let us know when you plan to arrive before your arrival by contacting the Director, Nancy Everett at 609-258-2492 neverett@princeton.edu or the Assistant Director, Linda Taylor at 609 258-4827, ltaylor@princeton.edu.

I-9 Forms (Employment Eligibility Verification)

Before you begin working at Princeton is to imperative that you sign an Employment Eligibility Verification form or I-9 form. Princeton University will not pay you or allow you to work until this verification process has been completed. The I-9 form must be filled out at Human Resources located at 2 New South. You will need to bring two forms of IDs.  Please look on the last page of the I-9 form for appropriate IDs.

While at New South, you can also obtain your ID card and parking permits.

ID Cards

To obtain your University ID card, visit the TigerCard Office at New South Building, Floor A. Their office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 4:30pm. Closings will be recorded on voice mail, call 609/258-5436.

Keys

Keys to assigned offices in Robertson Hall, Wallace Hall, Bendheim, and Corwin Hall are distributed to faculty and staff by the Facilities Office in 004 Robertson Hall.

Mail

You will be assigned a mailbox. See your faculty assistant for complete details and refer to the Mail Service heading of the Business Office website.

Parking Permits

You will need to pick up a parking permit at the TigerCard Office, New South Building, Floor A. You will need to bring your University ID card and you will need to know the license plate number, model, make, and year of the vehicles you will be registering. All WWS employees are assigned parking space on campus.

Telephones/Voicemail

Your assigned office will be equipped with a standard telephone and voicemail system that you can program with a personalized message upon arrival.
