Allowable Expenses
There are specific rules governing transportation to and from campus, guest speakers, meals for students and other reimbursables. It is essential that you review these guidelines as you cannot be reimbursed for expenses that are inconsistent with these rules.
Check-in
You will need to meet with Administrative Services or your Program Hiring Manager, on the day you arrive to check-in and to pick up any items you may need from OIT and Human Resources. In order to be able to adequately prepare for your arrival, please let us know when you plan to arrive prior to your arrival by contacting the Director, Nancy Everett at (609-258-2492), neverett@princeton.edu or the Assistant Director, Linda Taylor at 609-258-4827, ltaylor@princeton.edu.
Computing Needs
WWS Computing Services
WWS supplies computers for all faculty. Visit the Computing Resources for Faculty and Staff section of the computing office's web site for complete details about services provided and standard hardware and software. For a detailed description of the standard software, visit http://www.princeton.edu/desc/software/software_set.html. If you require special software, shared disk space for your class, or have any other special computing needs, please contact the WWS helpdesk for assistance at 609-258-1773 or wwshelp@princeton.edu. OIT Academic Services has licensed Blackboard for use by Princeton faculty for courses at the University. Blackboard provides a powerful and easy-to-use tool suite for instructors to build and manage virtual classrooms. Your assigned Princeton University e-mail address will be sent to you by the end of August for the fall semester or by the end of January for those joining us in the spring, along with your office and faculty assistant assignments. Course Materials
Course Packets
The School's Facilities Office will copy and distribute (at cost) course reading packets. Materials for copying are due on August 28 for the fall term and January 20 for the spring term. Reading packets can also be copied at Labyrinth in the University bookstore.Books
Course books may be ordered for students through the Princeton Labyrinth Bookstore. You or your administrative assistant can fill out an online order form.Materials on Reserve at the Library

Secretary/Office Space
Before you arrive you will be assigned office space, a telephone and fax number, and a WWS faculty assistant. For those joining us in the fall semester, the details of these arrangements will be sent to you by the end of August. Visitors and full-time faculty joining the staff in the spring will receive these details by the end of January. Please acquaint yourself with the School's policies on staff assignments and duties.
