Biography

Wendy recently earned her Ph.D. in Education Policy from the University of Pennsylvania. As a Harvard Strategic Data Project (SDP) Fellow, she leads the Overdeck Family Foundation’s efforts to build an evidence-based research agenda and evaluate the impact of research grants. Wendy’s past research has included rigorous, multi-method program evaluations of K-12 curriculum interventions as well of occupational training programs for high school graduates. Before her graduate work, Wendy taught elementary school in both Miami-Dade Public Schools and abroad as a Fulbright Scholar. In addition to a Ph.D., Wendy holds an M.S.Ed. in Education and Social Change from the University of Miami and an A.B. in International Relations from Brown University.
