A planner and Visiting Lecturer since 1998, David Kinsey is a partner in the planning consulting firm of Kinsey & Hand, based in Princeton, specializing in planning for affordable housing. Kinsey has been a court-appointed special master in numerous Mount Laurel exclusionary zoning lawsuits. He served as director of the Division of Coastal Resources in the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection. Kinsey has written on French planning, coastal zone management, growth management, and affordable housing. He has also taught urban planning at Rutgers University and environmental planning at the University of Pennsylvania. MPAUP and Ph.D. Princeton University.
