Michael Spindelegger, Foreign Minister of Austria to speak, Nov. 12 The Woodrow Wilson School's Liechtenstein Institute on Self-Determination will co-host a talk by H.E. Michael Spindelegger, the Foreign Minister of Austria and Acting President of the UN Security Council, at 12 noon on Thursday, November 12, in the Presidential Dining Room, Prospect House on the Princeton University campus. Spindelegger will present "The EU and the UN Security Council: Current Challenges and Future Prospects." This is only the second visit to Princeton of an Austrian Foreign Minister while in office. The first was Dr. Alois Mock who visited in 1992 at the onset of the Balkan wars. 12:00 pm |

WWS to host 14th annual SAOC symposium, Nov. 14-15 The Woodrow Wilson School will host the annual Students and Alumni of Color (SAOC) symposium "Hope and Change: Communities of Color and the New Administration" on Saturday November 14 and Sunday, 15. The mission of the symposium is to bring together students and alumni of the Woodrow Wilson School in common cause to promote racial diversity, discuss issues relevant to the social, political, and professional development of students of color, and support the social and political development of communities of color. 2009 marks the 14th anniversary of the event. 1:00 pm |
