Nick Birnback MPP '02

Birnback is Chief of the Peacekeeping Affairs Unit in the Office of the Under-Secretary General in the U.N. Department of Peacekeeeping Operations.

As a mid-career professional, he found the MPP program best suited to his need for more academic grounding in a shorter period of time.  While at WWS, Birnback benefitted from studying with real-world practitioners such as Ambassador Hutchings, who brings a real-world perspective to policy.

Birnback finds the WWS network continues to serve him well long after graduation.
