The Office of Population Research was established in 1936 to develop research and instruction in demography. OPR faculty associates' broad interests span the fields of population and environment, population and development, population policy, poverty and child well-being, demographic anthropology, social and economic demography, health and well-being, and statistical and mathematical demography.
