Service through leadership
The Woodrow Wilson School strives to be a diverse and inclusive community. We admit students from all walks of life and from a variety of backgrounds. Our students are the center of our school; their different policy interests help to make us great on campus, and contribute toward making the world great upon graduation.
One group we are proud to welcome each fall is our active duty and military veterans. Beyond our work to facilitate civil-military discourse within our cohorts, we value the different viewpoints they bring - often from time spent abroad.
Members of the military are active in all three of our graduate degree programs: one-year mid-career MPP, two-year MPA, and five-year PhD. We benefit from the perspective of these dedicated men and women.
The picture is of our military members of the MPP 2017-18 cohort, representing the USAF, USCG, and the USN. Thank you for your service, guys. And thanks Melissa M. for your photo!
If you are an active duty or veteran service member interested in contributing to civil-military discourse or to the policymaking process, we hope you will consider the graduate degrees at the WWS for your education and training.
From all of us here on the WWS Admissions Team, we wish you a safe and Happy Fourth of July!!
